FIELDS OF UTILIZATION

Hybrid electric vehicles are important alternatives for transportation in big and crowded cities. These vehicles should be preferred in all of our big cities especially in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir in order to prevent noise and air pollution and to save energy. In this sense, TUBITAK MRC is ready to collaborate with Big City Municipalities. Hybrid electric vehicle prototypes can be developed by TUBITAK MRC on different size and speed values for different purposes.
Moreover, these vehicles have important advantages for military applications because of their favourable properties such as quiet driving, avoiding heat circulation, etc. TUBITAK MRC continues creating various new R&D projects for civil and military applications.
