HISTORY Chemical Technologies Department located at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center became jointly affiliated with Environmental Technologies Department in year 2004 and two departments formed Chemistry and Environment Institute (CEI). Since year 2004 both department researchers completed several important projects, developed their infrastructure, and expanded their knowledge base, experience, and networks on an international level. Finally the growing researcher and project numbers let two departments became two separate institutes and Chemical Technologies Department became the Chemistry Institute in January 2009. .
Chemistry Institute continues to serve Turkish Industry with competent and experienced researchers. Currently there are several ongoing public (TARAL, Turkiye Research Areas) projects, Industrial projects and two test analysis projects. |
