MEDICAL BIOTECHNOLOGY STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNIT


The Unit aims to production and characterization of human primary and adult stem cells, and to develop cellular and vaccine technologies in terms of prevention strategies, diagnosis and targeted novel treatments. The main activities of the medical biotechnology group are determination of disease factors (in terms of protein and gene) for human health, production of diagnostic molecules, development of biopolymer microspheres, improvement of recombinant antibody and peptide structures and tissue engineering studies.

The Unit consists of four  laboratories;

  2. Bionanotechnology Laboratory
  3. Molecular Cell Biology Laboratory
  4. Immunogenetics Laboratory
