R&D studies; Food Institute has an high expertise and experience in conducting R&D projects. The principle in choosing R&D studies is the applicability of the outcomes to industry. There are two types of projects that are being carried out;
In-house projects, aiming to increase knowledge and expertise on very strategic subjects.
Contract based projects, financed by private/public institutions of which their outputs are belong to the customer.

• Establishment and operation of laboratories and their accreditation
