The objective of this NoE project is to build and disseminate a comprehensive, coherent and validated databank providing a single, authoritative source of food composition data in Europe for nutrients, and newly emerging bioactive compounds with putative health benefits.

Institute's role in the project: Determination of the present position of food composition of Turkey, addition of new products by providing qualified data and dissemination of the new database "EuroFir"to the Turkish satekholders are some of the responsibilities of FI.
